This game was released a few years ago. It is now available on steam for 4€ only, which is really cheap compared to original price of around 30€. I still didnt buy the game, but I am testing it in offline mode, and considering buying it for this price of 4€...
For those who have tried it, what do you think? Please do not comment if you never tried the game.
My opinion is that its cool. I would never say its better than SHC 1, since they just cannot be compared, but its good, and I like it. Castle building is good in SHC 2 and thats something I miss from "expert" gameplay in shc 1.
Everyone is complaining about graphics, but I find them to be rather good. I dont compare them with other games, I compare them with SHC 1, and its a huge imporvement. Its also very nice that I can play the game at medium settings from a laptop with integrated graphics.
My most favorite thing about SHC 2 is something that I am getting really bored of in SHC 1. In SHC 2, there arent many overpowered units, there arent lags, bugs etc etc. I simply thinks its cool, and no matter how good shc 1, a refreshment after 10+ years is good, its just boring to play shc 1 your whole life.
